Dales and coast
Holiday let changeover software for Yorkshire
Yorkshire here means the Yorkshire Dales and the coast. A stone cottage inland and a family house at Whitby or Scarborough are a cross-county drive, not one Saturday loop.
The Dales and the coast are both Yorkshire
A company covering Yorkshire may be cleaning stone cottages in the Yorkshire Dales and family houses on the coast in the same week. Whitby, Scarborough and Filey are a cross-county drive from Wensleydale or Wharfedale. Sharing a county name does not make them one round.
The Dales side is walkers, dogs, narrow village roads and houses that take longer to reach than the mileage suggests. The coast side is more often a Saturday change of family holiday, with sand, beach kit and a harder deadline, because the next guests are arriving from a long drive of their own.
Group the day before the day groups you
The planning job is to cluster the checkouts: a Dales round and a coast round, with people who can actually reach them. One cleaner sent from the Dales to the coast for a single house spends the day in the car. That mistake should be visible on the diary before someone is already on the road.
Signal in the Dales valleys is often poor. Coast towns are better, then the lanes out of them are not. Write the access note on the job. A call at the door is a weak plan.
How Changeover Master helps
Assign the Yorkshire Dales and the coast as separate runs on the same diary. Each cleaner opens a private link for the houses on their run, with no login. If a coast clean is still open as check-in approaches, the late-clean alert is the prompt, rather than a hope that someone will see a message.
- Calendar sync. Where you connect an iCal feed, those departures become changeovers on the diary. After a successful check the feed is read again about every 15 minutes. That is a sync, not a ping the moment someone books, so a same-day change should also be sent directly.
- Cleaner job links, with no cleaner login. Each cleaner has a private link. They open it on their phone, with no login and no app, and see only the changeovers you assigned. It shows the address, the checkout, the next check-in and the access notes.
- Photo proof. On that link they can add a photo of the finished clean. You see the photo count and the pictures on the changeover. The photos stay private.
- Problem reports. From the same link they can report damage, missing or low supplies, maintenance, cleanliness or guest mess, or other, with a short note. You see an open-problem flag on the changeover. An owner or manager marks it resolved.
- Late-clean alerts. If the clean is not marked done by the cutoff before the next check-in, or today's changeover has no cleaner, the account owner can get one email and the diary can show At risk, then Late. The cutoff starts at two hours and needs a check-in time on the property.
- Unlimited cleaners and staff. Every plan includes unlimited cleaners and staff. The price follows how many active properties you look after, not how many people are on the team.
Pricing
The price is the same in every area. It follows active properties, not the county.
- Free for up to 2 active properties after the 30-day trial. With more than 2, the workspace becomes read-only until you choose a paid plan.
- Starter is £19 a month for up to 10 active properties, or £190 a year.
- Plus is £39 a month for up to 25 active properties, or £390 a year.
- Growth is £69 a month for up to 50 active properties, or £690 a year.
- Pro is £129 a month for up to 100 active properties, or £1290 a year.
Annual billing is 10 times the monthly price, paid upfront for 12 months. The trial is 30 days and does not need a card. Free done-for-you migration is included on every plan: we will move your properties, calendars and cleaners across for you.
